The removable Privacy Cover puts you in control by letting you swivel it across to cover the lens and turn off the microphone whenever you want privacy, or remove it completely for round-the-clock protection.
Set up is straightforward, and once connected you can customise Motion Zones to focus on key areas and get real-time alerts when motion is detected. Two-Way Talk lets you communicate through the camera from your phone, ideal for calming pets or greeting visitors. It works with Alexa and is compatible with iOS and Android, connecting via Wi-Fi and mobile internet. After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring Indoor Camera 2nd Gen - White Security Camera - 2 Pack: Yes, you can still receive motion detection alerts on your Ring devices even without a Ring Protect subscription. You will receive alerts when motion is detected, but you won't be able to review recorded video footage without a subscription.
