A big upgrade for my bed - very comfy
Having slept on a £59 Ikea mattress for the last 7 years, I decided when I turned 50 this year to treat myself to a better quality mattress! I'd started having back issues so wanted something with a decent amount of support. This was a great buy with 12 months interest-free credit and a discount at checkout. I read many, many reviews of Argos mattresses and decided this one had the fewest complaints about potential squeaking, and discomfort. It's about 5cm thicker than my previous one and I definitely feel the difference. I am sleeping through the night much better and tossing and turning far less than I had been, even with ongoing back problems. If there was one minor downside, I'd say the edge feels quite soft. It could be because I have a mattress topper added on to it, but near the edge, when rolling out of bed, I need to be careful as it can dip a little and give way. Not a huge issue, just something I've noticed. I've had it for two weeks now, and the suggestion on the care pamphlet is to rotate it every two weeks for the first six months and then monthly after that to ensure even wear and help the mattress last longer. A little bit of a faff in a small bedroom, but thankfully, it's only a single size. All in all, I'm very impressed. It feels supportive but comfortable and I believe it's great value for the price.Great that there is no foam filling, just wool and I can't feel any of the 1000 springs! Would recommend.

Habitat Ari Natural 1000 Pocket Comfort Mattress
I bought this to replace my old mattress and was looking forward to some decent nights sleep. It's an OK mattress. But frankly, it's not the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I have to say, I'm not a great lover of supersoft mattresses. But, this mattress is just a little too hard for my liking! I guess you get what you pay for.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ari Natural 1000 Pocket Comfort Mattress - Double: The tape and sleeping surface fabrics on all three variants of the Ari Natural range of mattresses do contain chemical flame retardants to ensure that the mattresses safely comply with UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations. All of these are registered under EU and UK REACH (Regulations on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals). None of the chemicals in question have been listed as SVHC’s (Substances of Very High Concern) under the EU or the UK Regulations or had any restrictions placed on their use.
