About this product
The LG FWY606GBLN1 is a 10kg capacity washer dryer designed for smart fabric care and rapid cleaning. This corded machine washes cottons, delicates, synthetics and mixed loads using AI Direct Drive technology that learns fabric types and adjusts each wash for better protection. TurboWash cleans half loads in 39 minutes, while Steam technology reduces allergens by up to 99.99%. With a 6kg wash and dry capacity, 1400rpm spin speed, A energy rating, and 71dB noise level, this 73kg appliance measures H85 x W60 x D62cm and features an LED display with a 19-hour delay start for easy scheduling.
Choose from 12 washing programmes including cotton, delicates, economy, intensive, mixed load and a quick 14 minute wash, plus 10 drying programmes with sensor dry and 3 dryness levels. The dial control and LED display make programme selection simple, while variable spin speed and temperature settings let you tailor each load. The condenser dryer offers 2 heat settings with a 120 minute timer, consuming 52 litres per washing cycle. The child lock adds safety, and the pause facility means you can add items mid-cycle without restarting the entire programme.

Compared to our previous LG, the plastics and controls look/feel cheaper, but I cannot comment more about what's inside, so far so good, performs as expected. The process to register for a 5-year warranty is not straight forward, and by default you end up with a 2-year warranty and have to follow an additional process to get the extended one (that I got).

There are several factor which affect the drying times so we can not give exact times. This appliance has 10 drying setting with times being dependant on load weight, the spin cycle used when washed, higher spin less moister low spin more moister. There are also 3 different dryness level and 2 different heats.
