Lovely kettle.
This is a lovely, & not too heavy a kettle for every day use, & at a good price. My only criticism is that it doesn't have an automatic cut off, despite it's literature saying it has this facility.

The base is connected to the plug and cable. When lifting the kettle off the base it comes off by itself and is cordless.
