The Smartstart tick is perfect for taking the guesswork out of cooking, as the built-in temperature sensor changes from bright to dark red once the pan reaches the optimum temperature of 200C. Just wait for it to heat up on the hob & once the tick changes to a dark red colour.

Its not often I fry things, use oven mainly, but every so often I fry the odd couple of eggs, or dry fry sausages and chops. My old non-stick frypan was a bit too big, and had become in its old age a 'stick fry-pan'. So I bought this. Perfect size, sausages, eggs, and chops slide (or glide) around, I love it. So easy to clean too. Had it at sale price, so very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.
