About this product
The Habitat Julien Fabric Sofa Bed gives you seating for four during the day and a proper sleeping space when friends stay over. It's built for compact homes where one piece of furniture needs to earn its keep twice over. The wide frame means everyone gets a decent seat, no squeezing required. Foam-filled T-shaped seats and foam back cushions hold their shape and give you support whether you're watching TV or settling in with a book. The fold-out mechanism's straightforward, just pull out the seat and fold the back flat to create a sleeping area that's ready in moments.
The fabric's a hardwearing blend that stands up to daily use and wipes clean after spills. Steel feet keep the frame stable and lift it off the floor for easy hoovering underneath. Wide arms give you somewhere to rest a drink or prop against, while the cylindrical legs add a modern look that works in city flats and open-plan spaces. Brilliant sturdy sofa bed
We’ve had this now for half a year or so and it’s been fantastic! It’s a very sturdy build, I love the mechanics for changing it into a bed. It’s so simple and easy. It also has a little space to put blankets inside etc. another thing I really appreciate is that there are no sliding cushions so when you stand up, the seating stays intact! Overall just a brilliant sofa and to be fair, I have not had one bad purchase from Habitat so I can only recommend! Thank you.

I asked twice!!!
I really didn't want to write this. There were issues with the sofa; got in contact with you immediately but you haven't bothered to respond. My last direct email to you said 'please get in touch so I DON'T have to leave a bad review...but again to date you have not responded. I can't say fairer than that. So, stitching that has come loose and a mark/dent on the back. I've said it all on email with pics if you can be asked to find my previous correspondence.

Lovely couch, great quality and price
We've had the couch for a couple of weeks and it's great. Comfortable, nice texture, easy to pull into a bed. Great quality for the cost and the delivery men were lovely

Great sofa bed
A number of guests have now used this sofa bed since our purchase last month - all comment on how comfortable it is. It is easy to fold out and back again and can be done with one person (although even easier with two). It’s very solid. It's a beautiful colour and looks so nice in our spare room. We’ve bought a double mattress topper which adds to the comfort and reduces the slight gap between the two sides. Overall, great purchase.

Beautiful Sofa Bed
I'm so glad I'm the first to review this. Bought it without seeing any reviews and it's gorgeous. Really comfy deep sofa with a good quality fabric. The arms are low and it's good for lounging. The bed makes up very easily, it's big, firm and comfortable. You can store bedding underneath when the sofa is up. Really pleased with it

There is a seam where the back rest and the seat meet once in bed mode. This is as flush as it can be but may be somewhere where you may slip into if on your side.

Yes the sofabed does have a unique design with T-shaped seat cushions that extend outward, which can make using a standard fitted sheet difficult.
We recommend using a flat sheet that can be tucked around the main sleeping area. A mattress topper can also help create a smoother surface for bedding.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Julien Fabric 4 Seater Sofa Bed: The legs are 8cm in height.
To confirm the sofa is packaged without the legs attached, and an allan key is provided to allow the customer to attach the legs. The sofa is designed and tested to be used with the legs attached.
