Dongle
So it says that this dongle is for the playstation pulse elite headset but the actual dongle has a small hole in the side to reset. This one doesn't. Seems just like a money earner. Although it's cheaper than buying a new headset, it still not what I expected. It does work though so I will give it that.

You still play PS5 games normally on your console, the adapter only handles wireless audio for supported headsets and doesn’t change how you play.

The supplier has confirmed. The PlayStation-specific USB-A transmitter will work with the Astro A30 headset on a PS5/PS4, but the Xbox/PC version of the transmitter will not function natively on PlayStation without a dedicated PS5-compatible transmitter.

The PlayStation Link USB Adapter is designed to work with specific PlayStation audio devices, such as the PULSE Elite wireless headset and PULSE Explore wireless earbuds. Unfortunately, it does not support the older PS5 3D headphones.
