I cant recommend this item enough. Great value for money, and is the second one I have purchased. My first Brabantia 60m Lift-O-Matic Washing Line with Ground Spike served me well for 17, yes 17 years. It served for a family of 5 and was constantly outside. I have only now replaced it, and note that the quality remains high. This washing line has a great capacity, allowing for superking size bedding easily and many large bath sheets. Items do not touch the floor due to its adjustability, but it can be lowered to ease with hanging items if it should be needed. I am very pleased with my new item, and expect that it will last me to the end of my years based on the lifetime of my first one. Highly recommended.

Really happy with the washing line. It’s robust, holds a lot of washing, is easy to put up and down, adjusts to different heights and comes with a zipped cover. Definitely worth paying extra for the quality.

Bought as a straight replacement and have now put in concrete base. Good length of line and adjustability. I hang king-size fitted sheet over corners to give an idea of size.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Brabantia 60m Lift-O-Matic Washing Line with Ground Spike: If they go looser on one side, you just need to pull them back through the holes in the arms and this will even out the lines again. The lines move through all of the arms and so can be easily adjusted.
