Quality solid furniture
I have been looking to replace an existing old similar chair for 6 months and noticed Argos had a great offer on their furniture. The home delivery service was excellent with the driver ringing me 30 minutes before arrival and two delivery staff lifted the chair to the first floor up a stairway without complaint. A quality product and far more inferior to that which it replaced (from a leading furniture retailer).

I have ordered a chair which was faulty so I ordered again, another faulty chair, I tried once more and low and behold another broken chair, so now asked for refund.3 chairs all faulty.

Nice chair but disappointed the colour wasn’t what I expected. It doesn’t represent the sample (chocolate)I ordered but it’s comfortable. I have two chocolate sofas which are dark brown.

Classic and butter soft armchair
I bought this to replace a similar chair I had for 14 years. I was a bit worried about buying a chair without trying it first but liked the detailed description, close up pictures that rotated and the virtual picture ( where you could put the armchair in your room virtually ) to get a feel for how it would look. The guys who deliver it were fabulous and very poilite. The armchair was well protected, The legs were very easy to put on ( I am a 64 woman and did it on my own) .No instructions needed it was that easy. The leather is butter soft but a firm sit. I was unsure whether to get he tan or chocolate and chose the tan. Possibly slightly lighter than I expected from the image but to be fair that’s more about it being in your room and colour scheme than the colour not looking accurate.,so just be aware the tan comes up lighter and a can look a slight mustard tint if you have light wooden floors against it. I wasn’t disappointed with my colour choice. Great size and back rest is comfortable. Highly recommend especially when the 20% discount comes up.

The Home Salisbury Leather Armchair - Tan has a packaged size of Height 86cm, Width 108cm and Depth 96cm. As long as the height/width or height/depth is used, then this would pass through the window opening, assuming that the height/depth is too large for passing through the porch. The window would have to be removed prior to delivery though.

The cushion of the back will be permanently fixed on, i.e. sewn, rather than being removable and attached with just a zip or velcro.

I would suggest you measure a chair that grandpa is happy with then compare that to the dimensions given on the website and decide from there.
