About this product
The Russell Hobbs BRITA Purity Filter Glass Kettle holds a BRITA MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert Filter cartridge which helps prevent the build upbuild-up of limescale in the kettle. The 3kw of power ensures rapid boil so you won't be waiting for a brew. It has a 1L capacity, so it's big enough to make up to four cups. The Perfect Pour spout ensures the water goes into your cup without splashing over your work surfaces and to keep your work top clutter free, the base has integrated cord storage so it can be tidied away when it's not in use.
The BRITA water filter reduces impurities such as chlorine, lead and copper, preventing scale deposits for a longer product lifetime. A built-in indicator reminds the consumer when it's time to change the filter cartridge and there is a free MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert cartridge included to get you started.

Great kettle
I bought this kettle band was surprised how the water taste changed with the filter. Excellent quick boil but would not recommend for a large family as water tank small but for everyone else well worth the extra money for taste difference.

Efficient kettle
The kettle is strong and sturdy, with features to maximise efficiency, such as very quick boiling time. The filtration unit processes the water at a reasonable speed too, allowing the benefit of purity to the water, however, it can be removed easily and the kettle used as a normal one should it be required. The mechanisms operate smoothly and the glass allows easy watch for boil. It has ample capacity, but works well on small amounts too.

I bought this about a month ago. I read the reviews before purchasing and so there have been no surprises. Tea and coffee taste much better and there’s no residue in the cup once you have drunk your tea/coffee.

Looks really good and boils water fast. However the amount of water you can fill the kettle with is limited to 3/4 cups, so constantly topping up the water.

Yes .However it seems to leak and water drips down the kettle and.drips onto a worktop. Therefore it could be dangerous if a child is nearby.
I asked brita directly and they told me MAXTRA plus has be discontinued and the MAXTRA PRO are the upgrade of MAXTRA plus so the argos staff have the information wrong. Argos need to update product information as from 31st of May 2024 information is wrong MAXTRA plus not the filter you need

BRITA MAXTRA plus is discontinued. BRITA MAXTRA PRO. Went direct to Brita they told me as of from 31st May 2024 ues BRITA MAXTRA PRO its and ungraded filter cartridge
