capacity is just what i needed for a single person household. controls are easy to use and navigate. heats up food fast and you set the power/strength of its heating capacity. i have not used for for defrosting just yet. heats up food evenly. would recommend if you're looking for no frills microwave open.

The beep on it when turning on or when food is done cooking is so faint, you can just about hear it...not very good for the hard of hearing!!!
