I bought these for tea, coffee and sugar containers, they are as you might expect from habitat nice quality, some people commented that the lids lift a little which to be fair one of mine does but it is only a little and with a firm squeeze down again it doesn’t affect anything!
Nice colour way I’m pleased with them, also being able to pop them in the dishwasher is a plus.

Although the size and look of the jars were fine the simple fact that the lids did not fit properly rendered them useless so I returned them.
The seals were too tight and the kept popping off.

I have checked the Habitat Speckle 3 Piece Storage Canister, is suitable for spices, sugar or pulses. So yes you could use them for Tea, Coffee and Sugar.
