20% price reduction on this item and I can see why - the temperature dial can easily be moved up or down without being obvious and it is almost impossible to see the water level except when full. It's not pretty to look but it's an ideal weight and easy to use with a good level of steam output and the 9' flex is just the right length.

Really love my new iron... I'm such a sad sack! Glides really nicely and the steam is great. Love how the cord wraps around the base of the iron and does not get burned.

Not as good as I thought
It was bought just over a week ago and has been used a few times. The glide is good the steam is fantastic but the length 9f the wire isn't as long as usual irons,it's a shame as this let's it down. The dial turns willy nilly and the slightest touch it changes the temperature.

It's ok, just one irritation.
It's a nice iron and does everything ok but has one annoying feature: the temperature dial moves very easily and there doesn't seem to be much space around the handle so that it's very easy to accidentally catch the dial and and move it when you pick the iron up. As a male my hands are slightly larger than my partner's hands and I suspect it's not so much of an issue for her.

Rubbish
I bought this to replace a previous Russell Hobbs iron this new one is rubbish. It does not seem to get much heat. It is light which is ideal, but the heat dial is in the wrong position and csn be moved easily accidently!!

On first use it stopped producing continuous steam and wasn’t very hot. Temperature dial moves with slightest touch by knuckle when ironing. Would give 0 stars if allowed. Returned it for a refund.

No it doesnt. It seems to operate on one temperature, also according to a lot of the reviews. This should be explained on the box and in the description. Im not prepared to take the risk of scorching lighter fabrics so I took it back.

Nothing to say that it cuts off in the instructions in the box.
I have not noticed any cooling off within 10 minutes of not touching it.
So how does Argos think it works ? Perhaps someone can explain please.
