You can tell the quality by far in ninja they are lovely to hold balanced to perfection but my god are they sharp !!! So glad I bought these just wish I’d done it long ago . Yes there’s a small hatch opening at the back for the dust /shavings from sharpener easy to use but would recommend removing the knives before tipping up to empty
There’s a compartment which you can open to change the stone after 2 years at the bottom of the sharpener so expect the dust will come out when this is done. As haven’t needed to sharpen the knives as they are so good. Just use for veg and fruit.
