Good looks & sound.
I bought this to replace an older version DAB radio, it has good looks & sound, however being the older fella it took me a while to figure out the preset channel tuning using the "Quick" Start Guide, patience is required. Also, ignore the "Batteries required 4xC(included)" it runs off the mains, an adaptor is included, you can use batteries, but they're not. So far I'm pleased with my choice.

The good point about this set is the quality of sound produced in a compact unit but I would be hard pushed to find anything else to compliment. The problem lies with the controls which are too-small push buttons packed too-close together. Thus it is easy to push two butons simulataneously or miss the right one altogether. If the controls had been transferred to the top and seperated, the problem would have been eliminated. Only three preset station buttons are fitted. Additional presets may be tuned but the process is obscure and access is awkward. The instructions are supplied as pictograms which are difficult to understand. If you have access to the internet, written instructions may be found but, even then, these are poor. All in all, I would not recommend this radio and suggest you look at alternatives.

I bought this radio a few weeks ago when my expensive radio developed a fault that the manufactures could not fix or want to fix. So buying the expensive option is not always the best option.9

Good sound
This small radio has a good sound (albeit only in mono). Buttons are on the small side. Easy to set up but basic instructions are poor - recommend download full manual from website. A remote control would be nice but the unti would then be more expensive.

Very poor customer service
Nice little radio. Easy to set up and use, what it is let down by is the sound quality. Did not come with Argos advertisement claim of batteries included. Very poor customer service and still didn’t get the batteries.

Hard to programme
Nice looking DAB radio and good sound quality. But have to say we found it incredibly confusing to programme Quick Instructions not easy to follow in fact we printed more comprehensive ones off the internet. Decent price for a kitchen radio.

I bought this radio because I needed a DAB+ capability. My old DAB radio was only receiving 12 stations. This was the best looking one in my opinion. The sound is fine, the channel selection is good.
