Perfect for camping with two (and a dog)
Made cooking while camping so much more convenient. Scrambled eggs were done in a matter of seconds and easy to cook safely inside the tent when the weather is bad. No more waiting for hours for a rubbish frying pan to heat up over a little flame! Just be careful with the heating element as it can get extremely hot, although it is cool enough to touch after a couple of minutes.

This is my second purchase of one of these grills. The first one I wore out due to usage. It's a fantastic grill to cook bacon, sausage, burgers etc. it gets used daily. Wound recommend.

Awful for cooking
I bought this to cook on while camping. Instructions state cook on 5 for meat…..it burnt the sausages within minutes. I quickly learned that I needed to cook on 2 to prevent burning with regular turning. The thermostat function would turn heat off when temp was reached and this would stop the cooking process. Level 3 was too high, so I spent the next 45 minutes, yes 45 minutes constantly switching between 2 and 3 to keep the food sizzling. This process meant it took 45 minutes to cook 4 burger! Eggs slid around & then finally stuck to the plate. Hash browns did not cook and never even got the mushrooms on as I gave up and had cereal!!! Terrible purchase if you like your food cooked & not burnt on the outside.

Excellent camping grill
Works really well for meats, eggs, veg etc. Heats up quickly, easily controlled temperature, cools down quickly. Easy to clean if you give it a wipe down before it gets cold and then its easy to clean it properly later just using hot water and washin up liquid. Be aware the pin that is plugged into the grill from the power supply is a heating element and clearly gets very hot. Leave it in the grill until the grill is cold. There is no warning about this although it's pretty obvious I guess.

On checking I can see the plate does not come off for cleaning. You can clean this with a warm soapy water and a sponge.

This doesn't provide a min and max temperature. The controller is stepped and is just divisions of the power output. 1500W is the max power output.
