A traditional 4-seater most of the time, simply add the extra section and voila: a modern 6-seater. You'll find the extension hidden discreetly under the middle of the table. Simply pull the ends apart to reveal and lift into place. Featuring a real oak veneer finish, the Clifton has a smooth, natural style and is easy to wipe clean after meals.

Nice table
I like the table and how it extends. The extra piece can be stored under the table. I managed to fix it myself although took me a long time and was difficult as there were so many bits. Also, some of the screw holes were too small, so I had to create one myself in order to fit the screws. But is fine once built.

Great purchase
I replaced my existing table a few weeks ago for this one. It is lovely. I paid to have it assembled and the men said, it was quite difficult. The only negative is that the wood could have a smoother finish.

Ideal for small spaces
Bought this table a few weeks ago, our old table only sat four people, this is perfect for six, love the way it extends and then when finished goes back to its normal size, nice colour very sturdy

Recommended for those with smaller spaces!
Perfect size for my smallish space. Can comfortably fit 4 chairs (2 on each long edge) with all tucked in when not in use - a huge bonus to keep the space looking neat! The legs are right at the edge so there's no wasted space at the ends. Decent quality for the price and great that it extends. I would personally prefer if the wood effect was a bit darker. Assembly was a huge slog - managed to do it on my own but took 5+ hours! Process was needlessly complicated, involving glue and hammer.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Clifton Extending Oak Veneer 4-6 Seater Dining Table: The wood is a natural oak and oak veneer and is a warmer stain rather than a lighter one.
