Time saver
We live in a bungalow with laminate flooring, I used to hate having to clean the floors, first I used to sweep the corners, then vacuum, then mop. With the sharp Hydro Vac it’s all done in 10 mins. To make it even better the machine washes it all out when finished. I wish I would have got one sooner.

I bought this Shark cordless AquaVac September 2024 and have used it for almost two years. I own other good Shark and Ninja products, but this one is very disappointing. • Leaves wet, dirty streaks as soon as you stop cleaning. • The self-cleaning function does not work — the roller only looks clean. I have to remove it and clean the tube manually after every use. • Heavy and awkward; the main head does not detach, so you must carry the whole unit to wash it. • Does not clean right to edges; on textured tiles with grout, it does not clean the gaps properly. • Poor on laminate: Fine carpet fibres settle everywhere. When cleaning, they clump up, do not get picked up, and either stay on the floor or wrap around the roller. • Dirty water tank must be emptied and cleaned every time, otherwise it smells. I had high hopes, especially with two young children, but it creates more work than it saves. It is not practical and does not live up to what is advertised.

Loving my new hydrovac
Love the hydrovac lightweight and easy to use and manoeuvre. Simple to clean and the self clean cycle works well. Glides over even flooring with ease and efficiency leaving my vinyl floors clean and dry. Turbo boost works very well on stubborn muddy stains. Picks up low level debris easily but struggles with large debris such as twigs from garden. Struggles to clean uneven floor and edges. Overall a lovely machine that cleans my entire ground floor on 1 charge.

Good machine for vacuuming and washing floors at the same time. However it is disappointing that the wheel base prevents you cleaning right into the edges and corners.

With a dog, I clean my floors at least twice a day, this not only makes this job easier, but cleans much better than a normal mop. The self cleaning process is so easy or dismantle to thoroughly clean. Excellent product

Made my life easier.
I had this on my mind for a few weeks before I bought it, couldn’t decide whether to take the leap from the mop and bucket. But wow! It has made such a difference in my cleaning routine, my floors never truly felt ‘clean’ with a mop and bucket. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 children so our kitchen floor gets quite mucky at times but I can come down in the mornings, run this over the floor which takes me 5 mins and my kitchen floors are fresh, clean and even dry in 10 mins, ready for the day ahead. It’s also so handy if any of the kids spill something or one of the dogs has an accident or they run in with wet paws etc 2 mins and the job is a good’n. At the end of the clean, you just pop it on the charge stand, empty the dirty tank, give it a quick rinse, pop it back together and put the machine in clean mood and it keeps everything clean and fresh. I’ve had it 3 weeks now and I can’t fault it, it’s a game changer.

Amazing
This is an absolute gem. It hoovers and cleans well (you might think your floors aren’t that dirty but you’ll be surprised)and leaves surfaces almost dry. Being cordless makes it so easy to manoeuvre around and it’s lightweight too. It does leave a little puddle if left unused for a period of time so it’s important to return it to the docking station. It tells you instantly if you’ve run out of water or need to empty the dirty tank. It also has a battery indicator so you can see how much charge is left. The carpet refresh function is great just to go over rugs especially if you have pets. The self clean is very handy it’s a bit loud (my scary lab isn’t a fan) but it isn’t too long in duration. I would definitely recommend this it’s certainly much easier and quicker than having to hoover first then mop

No, it does not clean right up to the edges.
The Shark HydroVac Pro XL Cordless is suitable for LVT floors and is designed for use on hard flooring, making it a great option for both wet and dry cleaning.
It is not recommended that you use third party cleaning solutions with the Hydrovac. The Hydrovac Multi Surface Cleaning Solution is specifically designed for this system to optimise cleaning performance. Third party cleaning solutions will lead to foaming, streaking and false triggering of the dirty water sensors.

While the HydroVacs can operate with water exclusively, we strongly recommend the use of the cleaning solution for the best results. Using only water may lead to inadequate cleaning results, potentially compromising the unit's longevity. Consequently, we recommend adhering to our cleaning guidelines and employing the designated cleaning solution for optimal results
The Shark HydroVac WD210UK does not feature anti-hair wrap.
For this unit there is a cleaner solution that can be used in order to clean your floors.
This Hydrovac can not be used for dry vacuuming. There must be fluid in the Clean Solution Tank for the unit to run. The unit will turn off and indicate when you have run out of cleaning solution.

It will be difficult for me to answer if it will help on floors that have not been cleaned for a while. You may have to go over the floors more than once.

I would say no. It does tilt slightly but you are probably going to get dirty water on your floor as the dirty water tank does not have anything to stop it coming back out, if tilted. It doesnt tilt enough to go under a settee but you can just about go under a desk with it where the chair goes in.
Yes, the handle tilts back. It fitting under the cage would depend on how high the base of the cage is off the ground.
