Honestly it’s really not the best , it dosnt reach the edges . Dosnt pick much up off the floor , is a pain to clean too . The brush goes flat over all in the 6 months I’ve had it I’ve used it a very small handful of times .

Time saver
We live in a bungalow with laminate flooring, I used to hate having to clean the floors, first I used to sweep the corners, then vacuum, then mop. With the sharp Hydro Vac it’s all done in 10 mins. To make it even better the machine washes it all out when finished. I wish I would have got one sooner.

I bought this Shark cordless AquaVac September 2024 and have used it for almost two years. I own other good Shark and Ninja products, but this one is very disappointing. • Leaves wet, dirty streaks as soon as you stop cleaning. • The self-cleaning function does not work — the roller only looks clean. I have to remove it and clean the tube manually after every use. • Heavy and awkward; the main head does not detach, so you must carry the whole unit to wash it. • Does not clean right to edges; on textured tiles with grout, it does not clean the gaps properly. • Poor on laminate: Fine carpet fibres settle everywhere. When cleaning, they clump up, do not get picked up, and either stay on the floor or wrap around the roller. • Dirty water tank must be emptied and cleaned every time, otherwise it smells. I had high hopes, especially with two young children, but it creates more work than it saves. It is not practical and does not live up to what is advertised.

Loving my new hydrovac
Love the hydrovac lightweight and easy to use and manoeuvre. Simple to clean and the self clean cycle works well. Glides over even flooring with ease and efficiency leaving my vinyl floors clean and dry. Turbo boost works very well on stubborn muddy stains. Picks up low level debris easily but struggles with large debris such as twigs from garden. Struggles to clean uneven floor and edges. Overall a lovely machine that cleans my entire ground floor on 1 charge.

Good machine for vacuuming and washing floors at the same time. However it is disappointing that the wheel base prevents you cleaning right into the edges and corners.

No, it does not clean right up to the edges.
The Shark HydroVac Pro XL Cordless is suitable for LVT floors and is designed for use on hard flooring, making it a great option for both wet and dry cleaning.
It is not recommended that you use third party cleaning solutions with the Hydrovac. The Hydrovac Multi Surface Cleaning Solution is specifically designed for this system to optimise cleaning performance. Third party cleaning solutions will lead to foaming, streaking and false triggering of the dirty water sensors.
A new roll can be ordered directly on the Shark Clean website.
While the HydroVacs can operate with water exclusively, we strongly recommend the use of the cleaning solution for the best results. Using only water may lead to inadequate cleaning results, potentially compromising the unit's longevity. The Shark HydroVac WD210UK does not feature anti-hair wrap.
For this unit there is a cleaner solution that can be used in order to clean your floors.
This Hydrovac can not be used for dry vacuuming. There must be fluid in the Clean Solution Tank for the unit to run. The unit will turn off and indicate when you have run out of cleaning solution.

It will be difficult for me to answer if it will help on floors that have not been cleaned for a while. You may have to go over the floors more than once.

I would say no. It does tilt slightly but you are probably going to get dirty water on your floor as the dirty water tank does not have anything to stop it coming back out, if tilted. It doesnt tilt enough to go under a settee but you can just about go under a desk with it where the chair goes in.
Yes, the handle tilts back. It fitting under the cage would depend on how high the base of the cage is off the ground.
