Shark carpet cleaner
Absolutely great. Solidly built and great suction power, carpets dry quickly. Much more sturdy than that other carpet cleaner, heavier too. Recommend it. Shampoo offering also very effective. Accessories also well thought out.

Wow !! Carpets look like new
OMG this carpet cleaner is fabulous, very easy to use and what results. I am amazed at the way it extracts the dirt, penetrating right into the carpet to remove dirt and pet fur normal hoovering does not touch. The hand tool is great for stain striking or for hard to reach areas. Drying the carpet really well afterwards to leave it beautifully clean and odour free. I’m so impressed I can’t stop cleaning things with it!!

Why have I not been converted sooner !
In my adult life, I have gone through plenty of the other supplier of Carpet Cleaners that rhyme with 'Wax' and all, I thought, did the job OK. Then I met this one. OMG - Game Changer. From how it cleans to more importantly, how easy it is to clean afterwards. An outstanding machine that is value !! Get it, you won't be disappointed !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not on wool!
Only when I began to read the instructions did I discover that this machine is not suitable for use on wool or wool mix carpets. What earthly good is that?! As such it will be useless for many would-be purchasers and I sent mine back. Information relating to where it can and cannot be used should be displayed far more prominently in the product description and would thereby have saved a lot of hassle with returning it. I have had to fill in a date "when I used it" in order to complete this review, but actually I did not use it, or even get it unpacked as the instructions were on top and I got no further when I realised it was unsuitable.

Only used this a couple of times but it’s excellent. I didn’t realise how dirty my carpets were until I used this. It was very easy to put together. Would definitely recommend.

We recommend using only Shark-branded cleaning solutions in your Shark CarpetXpert to ensure the best performance and avoid potential damage, as third-party products may affect results or cause compatibility issues. The clear tank is for Shark Deep Clean Pro mixed with water, while the cyan tank is for Shark OXY Multiplier.
The Shark CarpetXpert features two separate clean solution tanks alongside the dirty water tank. The main CarpetXpert tank is filled with water and cleaning solution to the marked lines, while the StainStriker tank is used only with the OXY Multiplier up to the max fill line.
Definitely, you can switch to handheld mode by detaching the hose and connect the stain tool to clean the seats, or the interior of the car.
The handle on the Shark CarpetXpert is not intended to be removed once it has been assembled, as it is designed to securely click into place when inserted into the main unit during the initial setup.
This Shark CarpetXpert StainStriker upright is built for pet homes with its high-speed brush-roll and suction pull dog hair straight out of carpet fibers rather than wrapping them around the roller, and the included Pet Stain Tool is specially shaped to trap loose hairs before they reach the pump.
