Terrible - Nothing but issues
I have also had nothing but issues with this product. It is extremely heavy, the roller broke and also scratched my floor then the head broke again. I would not buy another shark again.

Astoundingly heavy, cumbersome and unwieldy
This is my third Shark, the others were fantastic (they kept my house clean despite my VERY hairy dog) and this time I went for the model with all the bells & whistles. Well, it is so big and heavy, there was never the slightest chance that I could carry it upstairs without dismantling the thing, but I managed in 2 stages using liftaway. On my upstairs carpet it glided like a hovercraft. Brilliant. But downstairs? First it tried to eat the thin rug on my kitchen floor, as did the wand, and nothing I tried made one iota of difference, so there was no simply means of vacuuming the rug, forget it. Then I went through the nightmare of trying to manoeuvre this monster over my terracotta tiles, and that did my back in, so I spent yesterday afternoon lying on a hot water bottle. If you're physically pretty strong and your house is almost completely carpets, this might be the perfect machine for you (though you might still find it irritating that the detect feature means a delay every time you push the start button) but otherwise it's possible that you will regret the purchase within minutes of plugging it in.

Great apart from cable
The cable is very bad. Mine has split in seven places. They need to change that otherwise it's a great hoover

Fragile On/Off Switch
Bought this to replace previous Shark. The on/off switch on the handle is very fragile and does not always turn on or off when you press it. I am concerned as to how long it will last before it doesn't work all together. It is heavy compared with previous Shark. The tools do not stay on the tool holders and fall off when vaccumming so I'm either falling over them or looking for them so I can use them. On a positive note it has very good suction and the cord is nice and long.

This is an extremely heavy and unmanageable.
Massively heavy and was returned. It hurt my shoulder necessitating physio treatment after one using. Very disappointed as it was obviously a quality product. The head on a gimbal, wobbling all over the place is hard to control and strains wrist, arm and shoulder since the vacuum weighs a staggering 8.5kg+. Rather irresponsible to make an appliance so heavy. The small. Part for the stairs was very good.

just fabulous
Fabulous vacuum - replacing an older model and just as good, the wider family all own Shark models

Do not recommend
Had nothing but issues with this, first vacuum head broke after a couple of weeks, replaced the whole unit and the same issue happened so they just replaced the head. The head then came with no soft roller. Suction is not great at all compared to my last vacuum. Really regret my purchase.

Big beast!
Seems bigger and heavier than my old Shark but not sure it picks up so well.

Best hoover I have bought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best hoover I’ve bought. On the very first use, I was shocked by how much dirt, fluff and dog hair it picked up — especially considering I’d just been using my previous hoover. It really showed how much I’d been missing! I specifically chose a corded Shark hoover and I’m so glad I did. The suction power stays strong throughout, and I love that it uses suction bags. The cable is also long enough to reach all around my house without constantly unplugging. I’m genuinely so happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it, especially for homes with pets.
