bought this as have been looking for a carpet cleaner to use with pets and after researching this product thought we would give it go. Its easy to use and clean (hoovered before using due to dog hair not wanting to clog brushes) and it was great and cleaned carpet well and dried quickly , only used once so far but over all pleased with purchase

Excellent cleaner but not for me.
Exchanged this cleaner for the Compact one which was so much easier for me to use at 72 years and only 5ft 1in. Much better.

Great machine.
Bought as an update from my old Vax which was about 18 yrs old. Very happy with the upgrade. Leaves the carpet drier and still great at cleaning. Much lighter too. really like the automatic detergent dispensing and ease of emptying/filling the water compartments. My only gripe is about cleaning the machine afterwards. It’s very difficult to remove all fluff that gets caught up despite vacuuming several times before use.

Superb product.
I’ve had this machine for about a month now and have cleaned four bedrooms, a lounge and stair carpets and I must say it is superb. Even on the deep clean the carpets were dry in a few hours and the pile was ‘as new’.

VAX carpet cleaner
This is our second VAX carpet cleaner, the previous model did a great job but was far more heavy and the hand attachments were more complicated to use but the six year guarantee was a bonus. Hence be purchased the new one that came with the six year guarantee as well plus a free hard floor cleaner. I have used it to clean all the carpets in the house and has done an excellent job. It is much more simple to use than the previous model and much lighter, my next job is to clean the car carpets.

Good but hard to clean
Great but the front part gets clogged up really easily by carpet fluff and the only way to clean it is to unscrew about 8 screws which is super time consuming. But other than that it's great!
