After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Addis 85 Litre Double Bamboo Laundry Hamper - Grey: ''You can’t physically remove the inner divider as one side is sewn into hamper itself, but you can just choose not to tie it to the opposite side to create the divide, but this means the divider would just be loose in the basket, semi attached, if that makes sense?''

It DOES stand up when empty because it comes with support rods at each corner, albeit weirdly designed with velcro pieces that barely fit. You can only just see the connecting velcro pieces for the rods in the top right corners. I bought it and it stands up supported by the rods whilst empty.
