Excellent descaler and economical too
Since I bought my De'longhi coffee machine I have been descaling it with this descaler. When bought in the 500ml bottle the price is not bad. I descale my coffee machine and then re-use the output from the coffee machine descaling in my kettle where it also does a great job so 2 for the price of one. It is the best descaler that I have found.

We wouldn’t recommend using the De'Longhi EcoDecalk Descaler on a Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine, as doing so may affect your warranty. To ensure proper care and maintain warranty coverage, it's best to use descaling products specifically approved by Smeg.

Our supplier has advised that you should use 100ml of descaler diluted in hot water and leaving it to soak in the kettle. You do not need to boil the kettle.

Hi. Tbh i only use this to descale my kettle and i think different coffee machine manufacturers have their own instructions regarding descaling. However the following may help yourself and those want to descale GLASS kettles. The bottle has 5 markers on the side (5 treatments), pour 1 measurement in to a kettle (based on a 1.7ltr kettle) and fill kettle to max line with COLD water and leave overnight. Empty and rinse a few times, refill and boil then pour away for a perfect result.
NOT SUITABLE FOR PLASTIC KETTLES.
