Great reliable SSD drive at a good price
Great reliable SSD drive at a good price and a light weight. Bought it to use it as a spare External Backup hard drive. To use it as an external drive, a USB to Sata 2.5" hard drive adapter lead cable is needed. The new drive will need to be Initialised, formatted etc. using Disk Management, in Windows 10/11 before use.

Works very well. If you're used to a spinning rust mechanical hard disk, this will be a revelation. Knocked a star off because the packaging was quite tatty. How long have these been on a shelf?

“ The CS 900 is not compatible with any consoles and is instead designed to be used as an internal SSD by computers. Consequently, it would not work with a PS5. ”

This PNY CS900 250GB SSD is suitable for use in any device which uses a 2.5inch SATA hard drive - this does include many laptops and desktops, although the latter may need a specialised 3.5inch to 2.5inch adapter depending on the specific case.
For some more recent devices you may instead have M.2 storage, which uses a different mSATA connection on the motherboard and is not interchangeable with an SSD like this one.
Please check the specifics of your Razer laptop for which it currently has.
