I've been using this kettle for a couple of weeks now and it been good. Nice to have a silent kettle .last one which was a bosch lasted 10 years but it was an expensive one and the beep got on my nerves. Boils fairly fast. Would recommend.

Smart, boils well though some noises at the beginning of the boiling process (which disappear quickly) then the rest of the boiling time is fairly quiet. I do like the window beneath the handle where you can easily see how much water to put in for any number of cups. It remains to be seen, however, how it copes with the hard water which always left my old metal kettle with a white sum around the lid and pouring lip.
