I agree with a review which says it's a tall kettle - some 2cms taller than my previous kettle - a shorter more rounded kettle. Other than it's height and shape it's an attractive kettle and I didn't find noise a problem when boiling.

Honestly the best kettle I’ve ever owned! Extremely fast and efficient boil, as quiet as a normal kettle can be, and the key thing is just extremely light and easy to fill with a pop up lid - the 365 degree base really helps with this as well. Also looks really smart and expensive.
