Easy to fit and secure firmly.
Seat and lid were not as thick as I expected, so not sure about durability. The seat is quite narrow and not very comfortable but ok for the length of time in use. Fitting it was straightforward except that the bottom ends of the 0lastic nuts are meant to snap off when optimum torque is reached. These just became impossible to turn because the 13mm spanner (as specified in the instructions) mashed the nut and just went round and round once it tightened. Not sure whether a ring spanner would have worked better than a standard one. So far, though, no sliding or wobbling. Easy to do side to side adjustment when fitting.

I could not take expensive,stylish mistakes any longer. I wanted a toilet seat I could feel safe on- that does not move!!!! This make does more upmarket soft close ones according to U.S. YouTubes, but I went for this bog basic, patent pending technology of not loosening with time... and I am very happy, especially with the price. It is sturdy enough. Don't stand on it- lol. But it should last me years.

Adjustments needed to fit
Just finished fitting this. As usual instructions only in sketch, no words. Bolts not long enough to go through holes in back of toilet with part C on and had to take top off bits that secure the bolts otherwise they would not screw on, so could not use the snap off feature. Just had to tighten in the normal way. Seems to be on tight enough but also quite flimsy plastic. I don't think it will last very long to be honest. Not recommended š

To fit the Chester Sta-tite seat you will need an adjustable spanner or a 13mm spanner for use after tightening the Statite nut by hand.

Our supplier has confirmed of the following for the Bemis Chester STA-TITE Toilet Seat.
As long as you follow the proper cleaning instructions, it's not likely to stain. Only use warm soapy water (e.g. washing-up liquid) and a soft cloth to clean the surface and hinges. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners containing bleach or alcohol to clean it as this can damage the surface of the seat and this hinge. Such damage is not covered in the warranty.
