About this product
This 28cm grill frying pan from Salter Mega features an innovative coating which is 15x longer lasting than standard non-stick. This lightweight cooking pan has a thermo collar with heat indicator technology, when the pan has reached the optimum cooking temperature the collar will turn red so you can cook to perfection. This forged aluminium griddle pan is PFOA-free and safe to use with metal utensils. After cooking, simply hand wash the easy-clean pan for hassle-free clearing up.

Good light weight but strong griddle pan
Pleased with this non stick griddle pan cooks evenly, easy to clean after use, unlike cast iron light weight but every strong. Easy to handle. Good size, would have liked the griddle lines to have been a little more pronounced. But overall a good solid pan. Would recommend it.

Not dishwasher safe
Bought this from Sainsbury’s in Southampton with the assurance is on the box that it is a dishwasher product. Only two months after ownership, you will now note that the paint is chipping off the handle. Sadly, I’ve lost the receipt so I’m sure that despite the fact that I bought it on nectar my order it will not be able to be tracked and therefore will not be considered for a refund or swap. I don’t recommend this product if you are hoping for one that is dishwasher safe only use if you’re going to wash in the sink.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salter 15x Mega Thermo 28cm Griddle Pan: While the pan is designed for use on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction hob types, it is not specifically recommended for solid fuel cookers like Raeburn due to their high, direct heat output.
If you choose to use the pan on your Raeburn, please make sure it sits on a flat, stable area of the hotplate and avoid exposing it to very high or direct flames to prevent damage to the non-stick coating and the pan itself.
