Bought to give my baby grandson a nicer mattress than the one provided with the travel cot which was so hard. So far he has slept better on it when visiting. I was worried that it might not be any better as it is thin but it has much better ‘give’ so cushions him better. It did not come rolled up so I’m not sure how it will pack away for travel.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cuggl 95 x 65cm Travel Cot Mattress: A light odour can sometimes be noticed when a new foam mattress is first unpacked. This is normal and is not harmful. This would only be relevant to the 944/6005 or the 945/1337 as these products use a foam filling. The 326/1437 use a polyester fibre filling which is odour free.
The foam we use is certified and tested to meet UK safety standards, including CertiPUR. This means it is made without harmful chemicals and is safe for use in the home.
In most cases, the smell fades within a couple of days.

You can physically place the 95 × 65 cm Cuggl mattress in the Joie Allura travel cot, but it’s not an ideal or safest fit due to the 2 cm shortfall.
For best safety and comfort, choose a mattress sized 97 × 65 cm, which is the proper fit for the Joie Allura.

A 95x65 Travel Cot Sheet would be required if you wanted a fitted sheet although the sheet does not need to be fitted.
