About this product
The Habitat Kyoto Side Table keeps your essentials close and adds a bright accent to your living room or bedroom. It's a compact piece that fits beside a sofa or next to your bed, giving you a handy surface for a lamp, your phone, or a cup of tea. The yellow painted finish brings a bit of colour into your space without taking over. There's pine in the frame that adds natural strength, while the smooth painted surface wipes clean easily. A lower undershelf doubles your storage, so you can tuck away books, magazines or remotes.
The painted finish protects the wood and stands up to everyday knocks and marks. It's a small footprint that works in tight spots where larger tables won't fit. Quality Issues
Order the blue version. When I opened it there was a large scratch all around the side of the table. Ordered another and went to the store to swap but thought I'd check it in store this time. The scratches around the side weren't as bad but instead there was a huge scratch across the top. Decided not to bother a third time.

Missing section of paint
The colour and design is nice, though the quality is disappointing. There is a large section of the bottom shelf that has clearly not been painted. Thankfully, we have faced side this towards the wall, so it is not very noticeable.

Nice but not perfect!
I really like the table, but both tables we bought had faults. The first table was scratched on the top, and had a crack in the paint work all around the side of the top table. We took that back, and the second has cracks around the bottom part, and missing some paint at the edge of the bottom, but as I like the table design, and it is reasonably priced, I have decided to keep this one as none seem perfect!

The bottom of the Habitat Kyoto Side Table - Cinnamon is the same width as the table top, as the table top hangs over. This is shown in one of the images on the website.
