Johnstone's Quick Dry Gloss is a high opacity gloss paint for interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces, including skirting boards, doors, radiators and staircases. The water-based, low odour formulation is non-yellowing, easy to apply and quick-drying.

Brought this a few weeks ago for neighbour looking for specific colour for wood to match his walls, found it available local Argos, collection same day, good paint that did the job.

Worst paint ever
I don't know if the end result was due to the fact that it's water based but I can honestly say it's the worst gloss paint I've ever used. Bubbles everywhere, runny constituency. In the end I had to wait for it to dry and then rub it all off. Complete waste of time

For the best results on bare surfaces, apply a suitable undercoat. On previously painted surfaces, ensure the area is clean, dry, and lightly sanded for optimal adhesion.

“ This would depend on what the use would be
If water prove for the purpose of washing the surface after drying, then yes you can wash the surface .
If, however, to seal a surface with pooling water, then not advisable. ”
