Excellent steam iron
This is an excellent steam iron It's lightweight with a spout to make filling it really easy. The transparent tank has a large capacity which will easily do a couple of baskets of washing without needing a refill. The dial is clearly marked and one can iron a range of fabrics from jeans to silk blouses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's an amazing iron! What can I say! Fantastic at getting the creases out! You can even just steam them while the clothes are on a hanger if you like. It does get very hot, so I turn it down from Max when all my other irons have been in max, so be careful, or it can stick to your clothes. I store it underneath my stairs so storing it isn't a problem but it is a bulky iron so you will need somewhere to store it. It's almost silent apart from when you press the steam. All in all a 5 star iron and I would highly recommend!

Great Iron

It's very strong steam. I liked the on / off switch with the light to say when it's ready. Also having the cleaning pad that enables me to descale the iron. Holds a good amount of water.

With three toddlers running around, my mornings are pure chaos. The steam on this is so strong it actually makes ironing go by much faster. My favorite part is the settings, especially the synthetic one; it regulates itself so well that I don't have to panic if I get distracted by the kids for a second. It even has a little light on the front that’s surprisingly helpful for seeing wrinkles if the room is a bit dark. One thing to note is that the cords aren't detachable. I wasn't sure about that at first, but I've realized it’s actually better because it keeps everything in one piece. It means I have to empty the water tank when I'm done, and there are no loose parts for the kids to mess around with. If you have a big family and need something powerful but safe, this is a great choice. I really love it! It’s not too technical, pretty straight forward , have used for two weeks before my review, it’s very durable. Compact design that’s easy to store. I do recommend.

Makes ironing faster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is great I do love the fact the water is separate to the iron part so it’s lighter and it holds more water so you can get through a pile of ironing faster. It’s very strong steam and made the jeans fast easy job, you can also wind the leads around the bottom so it’s easier to store and from what I see it’s going to be easy to keep clean .

Hello Miz! The Smart Calc Clean function on the Philips PSG2000/20 is an automatic descaling system that helps keep your steam generator working efficiently.
When it's time to descale, the iron will beep and the Calc-Clean light will flash. Just follow these steps:
1. Fill the water tank halfway.
2. Place the iron on the Calc-Clean container (included in the box).
3. Press and hold the Calc-Clean button for a few seconds.
4. The cleaning cycle takes about 2 minutes and will beep again when it's done.
It's quick, easy, and helps maintain great steam performance over time. Hope this helps!
