Impossible to take off the wire from the blanket. This means it's not able to be washed. The instructions manual showed a clip off wire but the actual blanket wire was different. Tried to forceful pull 8t off and it would not budge. So took if back for a refund. Also the control lead was exceptionally short.

Electric blanket
It does not warm as fast as previous blanket but it does provide excellent "subtle " heating. The fitting and security on the mattress is also excellent. Controls are very easy to use. I, personally would buy again. If you require instant scorching heating, this is not for you.

Simply the best elecric blanket...
Simply the best electric blanket I have ever owned. I have so many let downs from previous blankets so I did a lot of reading and research, and I found this blanket which is a delight. I can not praise it enough. It actually heats my whole bed up, also has has extra feet and body heat, and the control for two sides is amazing as it is so easy to use. It is actually for a King size bed and I have a double bed, but I checked the measurements and it was not much bigger than my bed, and as the last blanket only heated the middle of the bed this is a joy! The cover has a zip so you can take it off to wash it which is an added bonus. I Love it and highly recommend this fantastic electric blanket *****

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Snuggledown Intelligent Warmth Heated Underblanket: For safety reasons the plug connection is at the top end of the bed. If the plug ran along the bottom of the bed, it could pose a trip hazard depend on how someone bedroom is laid out.
