About this product
The Salter Espirista brings barista-style coffee to your worktop, so you can craft authentic espressos, cappuccinos and lattes without the trip to the cafe. This manual espresso machine uses a 15bar Italian pump system to extract maximum flavour from your ground coffee, delivering rich, aromatic shots with proper crema. The intuitive touch panel lets you select single or double espressos, while the manual steam wand gives you full control over milk texture, whether you're after silky steamed milk or dense foam for your flat white or latte macchiato.
You'll find practical features that make daily use easy. A generous removable water tank with a level gauge holds enough for several drinks, a removable drip tray keeps things tidy, and a built-in cup warmer keeps your espresso hot from first sip to last. The adjustable cup stand fits your favourite mugs, and there's a hot water option for Americanos or tea. In the box are the coffee machine, tamper-measuring spoon, single and double espresso filter baskets, and a stainless steel filter. I love this coffee machine. It looks very stylish but doesn’t take much space. I’ve had it for a couple of months and make many coffees daily, with delicious froth and good temperature.

Compact coffee machine
I’ve been using this for a few months and am very happy with it. My husband and I both think it makes a much better coffee than our previous pod machine. Yes , does make a bit more mess but definitely worth it. A good machine for a great price. Only took a star off as the coffee holder is not stainless and I stupidly put it in the dishwasher. Had to polish for ages with wire wool to bring back some of the shine.

To use the hot water function on the Salter EK5240BO Espirista Espresso Coffee Machine, follow these steps:
Switch off the espresso machine and leave the remaining hot water to sit for approximately 15 minutes.
Empty the cups and refill the water tank to the max. fill mark with clean water.
Run the espresso machine at least twice more and pour the water away once it has cooled.

I can advise that this machine makes the espresso and can froth milk. You have to physically add them together to make the drinks listed, it isn't dispensed that way by the machine.
