Firm support meets hybrid comfort. The Jay-Be Truecore Firm Hybrid 2200 Pocket Sprung Mattress is designed with orthopaedic principles in mind. Popular with back or stomach sleepers, it offers balanced support with pressure-relieving comfort. A dual-layer spring system combines 1000 Micro Pocket springs for contouring and 1200 pocket springs for added stability and reduced motion transfer. Breathable layers promote airflow and moisture evaporation, helping to maintain a consistent temperature and keep the mattress fresh throughout the night.
Every detail of Truecore has been carefully considered with comfort, well-being and sustainability in mind. It is made in Jay-Be's UK factory, which is powered by 100% certified renewable electricity and operates a zero-to-landfill policy - setting a new benchmark for quality sleep.

Buy from a proper bed shop
Sounded good in item description 2200 pocket springs, once enrolled it only took seconds to inflate. It has a lable on side saying "FIRM", definitely not a firm mattress more like soft to medium, after 5 nights sleeping on it I was getting more pain in my lower back, thighs, hips & ankles, than I did with my ex 23year old one. Had it returned today 7 days after having it delivered. You can feel the pocket springs around the edges without sitting on it, when getting off the mattress the sides squeeze down quite alot. Overall not a comfortable mattress for myself, I won't be ordering another from argos, I will go to a proper bed place and try them before I buy and stop wasting everyone's time to deliver just to have them take it back a week or two later.

Rotate your mattress every two weeks for the first six months following its unpackaging, to help with the settlement period.
Then once passed this, rotate your mattress once a month after the first 6 months, this helps prevent hollows forming.

The breathable rebound comfort layer in this mattress is 5cm deep. It is not a memory foam equivalent as the design of this fibre allows air to flow freely, reducing heat and moisture build up and creating a healthy, fresh sleep environment. The comfort layer is made of recycled polyester fibres which means it is also better for the environment.
