Practical for browning the meat.
The feason I bought this is because you can sizzle and stew using the inner bowl directly on the hob. Also becuas eit is usable on induction hob. The size is great fo a bigger family.

We brought this slow cooker to replace our older broken one. Didn’t use it as when it was unpacked it was too wide to fit in our chosen storage cupboard. We also realised it would work with our plug timer to come on automatically at the chosen time.

We were brought this slow cooker as a gift, which sadly the front panel stopped working after a few months. Argos were brilliant, they exchanged it immediately with great service. As a family of 5 we use this cooker several times a week, life saver.

Brought a month ago but not used much- takes a bit of getting used to if you're not familiar with slow cooking. Great that you can brown meats etc using the pan on the hob. Huge capacity great for batch cooking which is one of the reason for the purchase. Only negative is that the cable is quite short so needs to be near a plug socket.

Brilliant Slow Cooker!
I bought this to replace another brand of Slow Cooker that I bought and that only lasted a few weeks before the non-stick coating started coming off. I have had Crockpots in the past and don’t know why I deviated from this brand as they are the best. This cooks food to perfection and results are so tender. I have found other slow cookers do not cook quite as slowly as expected and there is more of a simmer going on but the Crockpot cooks so very slowly that provides better results. It’s great that the inner pot is removable so you can sear things on the stove which it’s fully compatible with - even induction hobs. It automatically switches to the keep warm function and will keep food hot for a further 4 hours after cooking which is a great function to have. It’s also has a great capacity being 6.5L and you can get loads of food in it, perfect for a big stew. I am extremely happy with this and just sorry I wasted my time with the other brand as there’s really no comparison in performance. This is the best 👍

Having checked the instructions for the Crockpot Sizzle & Stew 6.5L Induction Slow Cooker:
There is no 'Fast Cook'. There are 3 setting's, high, low and keep warm. Using the high setting will cut the cooking time.
