Bought this 2 weeks ago as my wireless mouse connection was poor. I have used this new Logitech wired mouse now for many hours. It works perfectly and was excellent value. The connecting wire is a bit longer than expected but is not a problem. Highly recommended.

This answer is incorrect. I bought the mouse because of it, but it is a USB 2 model and does not fit a USB 3.2 port.

This mouse is designed more for office use than for gaming. For some games it may be OK as some of them can be played with a standard mouse but we cannot promise that you'd get optimum performance out of it with a game. You may wish to consider a gaming mouse if the intention is to mostly play games with it.
Also, from the information we have available, the mouse wheel just scrolls rather than functioning as a button as such though this could depend on the game, its compatibilities and so on. Without knowing more about the game, we cannot give an exact answer.
