About this product
The Hoover HL4 Push&Lift is a lightweight upright that delivers deep carpet cleaning without the weight. At under 5kg, it's easy to carry between rooms or upstairs, and the corded design means no battery worries. The anti-hairwrap brushbar uses special bristles, a velvet roller, and an integrated comb to untangle hair as you clean, so you don't stop to cut strands off. The combination floorhead works on carpets and hard floors, and no loss of suction technology keeps performance consistent even when the 1.2l dustbin is nearly full.
The Instant Release Wand switches from floors to furniture or stairs with one button press, and the mini-turbo brush tackles stubborn pet hair on sofas, cushions and upholstery. The 7.6m power cord offers plenty of reach without swapping sockets, and the 2m hose stretches to reach awkward spots. Included are a crevice nozzle, turbo brush, and metal extension tubes. It runs at about 80 decibels, typical vacuum volume, and works on carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery. The dustbin empties easily, and there's a 3-year warranty when you register within 30 days.

Bought this after having an absolute disaster with Vax hoovers. Breaking down after couple months. Sending a new one then that not working but wouldn't replace because the second hoover was sent as a good will gesture apparently!!! Purchased this and I have to say I really like it. Not too heavy. You can remove it from the base so it's easier to hoover the stairs rather than using the whole hoover. Good suction. The hair wrap is good, but every so often I do have to remove the hair myself cus there's sometimes a build up. Would definitely recommend.

Good but not perfect
Vacuum suction is excellent, attachments are also very good. However, the hose is weirdly short meaning you have to keep the vac very close to you at all times which isn't especially easy to do. I don't think it's particularly light either.

A good quality vacuum cleaner, both for hard flooring and carpets. The suction is good and the accessories work well. Not particularly noisy and the lead is a reasonable length. Easy to empty and to see when it needs emptying. Doesn’t take up too much space for storing in a small flat.

This Hoover works like a dream. Having a vacuum cleaner of this quality and effectiveness is (I'm embarassed to say) life changing! So easy to manoeuvre, it is lightweight, and does a great job on pet fur.

I’ve had this Hoover just over a week I bought it to replace a Shark which was three years old but becoming very heavy to manoeuvre.. this is excellent ! It moves so easily,,turns corners and gets up close to skirting's.the extra hook for the lead a good idea and prevents too much lead on the floor Easy to empty and brilliant at coping with dog hair.. the price is so good when compared to other brands Haven’t used the brush for stairs yet

Bought to replace a cordless cleaner - the battery of which had died. So far so good. Light weight, easy to carry round, good suction using the tools and the cord is long enough to reach everywhere. Cleans well.
