Spacious, easy-to-use steamer with multiple tiers and timer, ideal for families. Robust and efficient, though some find it slow and bulky. Easy to clean but requires emptying after use to avoid mold.

Good solid steamer
Have been using the steamer for a few months. I wanted one with large capacity in multiple layers so its great! Easy to set up, works well. Looks nice. A little slower than my last one, but looks more robust, all the trays eventually snapped on the old model. Doesn't catch the veg water ,which I used to keep and add to soup or sauces, so that's disappointing. Whole thing needs emptying and rinsing each time you use, or water quickly goes mouldy. But that's easy to do.

Good steamer
It was easy to put together and use. With the multiple layers it had plenty of capacity to seam all the veg we were cooking and allowed it to be spread evenly over the levels rather than crammed deep in a single layer. It cooked well and we are very happy with it.

Great Product
Ample capacity, steams the food evenly and the timer is a handy feature.

Steams well but is awkward to use and store.
Bought this to replace my old Russell Hobbs steamer which was excellent. I had already bought a Cookworks kettle and a toaster and was happy with them. However the steamer is not so good. It steams the food ok but does not nest when not in use unless the anti drip brackets are removed. This is very inconvenient. The control knob is large and the zero mark is at the front edge. This makes it difficult to align with the time scale to get an accurate time. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Enormous!
Purchased it about 4 days ago. It was a replacement for a a tefal compact steamer. This takes up 3 times the space in my cupboard and that's why I have only given it 4 stars. The individual baskets can be stored inside each other but you have to remove the black rim from 2 of the baskets each time you put it away. If you don't have a lot of space to store it, then don't buy this! Very dissapointed!

Hello there,
Yes, if Cookworks FS1400-GS 3 Tier Steamer - Stainless Steel needs topping up while it's in use, clear fresh water can be added via the refill inlet in the edge of the drip tray, so you do not need to remove the baskets.
