Does the job
Fits nicely under my computer desk and has a USB socket on it too. Nice!

Very solid with a heavy cable
My original Belkin 4 socket extension lead stopped working after about a week. Argos have replaced this for me and, so far, the replacement one is working perfectly. The green light to say that a socket has power is rather small.

Great little extension lead...
I bought this to pop behind my chair to run my phone charger and a usb fan. Very handy to have the usb ports along with the conventional sockets. With Belkin, you also know you are using a very reliable product that should last for years. Yes it's a bit more expensive but, I value my life!

Good quality socket extension
Feels solid and the usb c seems to charge my phone fast. The whole extension box is quite chunky (it has surge protection and fire retardation) but may not fit neatly for some people.

Sturdy and safe
This multiblock is really nicely made, the plastic is high quality and smooth. It has one switch to control the block which is great for inaccessible wall sockets like mine, this way i can switch everything off easily. I'm putting my devices on standby much less frequently as a result which must be saving energy too. Having USB and USB C connectors has helped reduce the number of bulky charger plugsand allows me to tick it under a low chest of drawers. My one negative was that the USB socket doesn't seem to work with all my devices but most have been fine

Short answer is no.
The out put is 15w. It would be more suited to lower power phones and small devices.
A MacBook Pro, depending on the model would run and charge on an output of between 65 - 140w depending on usage.
You could use the output to charge your laptop over night, but you may wake up disappointed depending on how close to empty it was.
The usb A port is 2.0 which means that it will charge up to 2.5w which will suit smaller lower power devices.

Hi Memememememe. It should not draw a significant amount of current when you leave a charging cable plugged into the Belkin Connect Surge Protector.
