It's a good watch but it has it's bugs still
Great clear screen. Lots of fitness tracking apps. However I cannot install any additional/3rd party apps on the watch from Garmin store app. Garmin have added me to a list of affected users but no suggestion of when it'll be fixed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Garmin Venu 3 GPS Smart Watch - Black/Slate:
The Venu 3 range does not support mapping or navigation. Sadly, it is also not possible to put courses onto the device that can be followed during activities.

I have the Venu 2 and if the ring doorbell notification goes to your phone and the watch is connected to it, then yes you get notifications as you do for texts, emails and calendar events. There is no connection between the doorbell and the watch but so long as the Ring app is on your phone and you get notifications there, there is no reason why it would not go to the watch

"I'm afraid I can find no information indicating Ring doorbell functionality with this watch." Because of this, we'd have to advise that it is not compatible.
