Excellent Microwave.
This microwave does exactly what I want a microwave to do. It works as good as it looks. The controls are straight forward to use and not over complicated. The price was very reasonable. So far so good.

Visually lovely. The colour contest between the wood effect and the charcoal grey is great. It's very easy to set the clock. The only reason I've taken one star off is because the start and stop buttons seem to be on the opposite place. Both my partner and I always instinctively press the wrong one. It seems logical for the stop to be in the start position. This isn't related to our old microwave, that was very different. It just seems illogical. Great otherwise though. Looks great with the matching kettle and toaster next to it.

Reply to Lisa - thank you but you misunderstood my question, sorry i didnt explain properly. There is a protruding box - not a vent - at the back of microwaves. How high is this box from the bottom, on this model? I need a microwave which will clear the small upstand at the back of my narrow worktop.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Haden Dorchester 800W Standard Microwave 201324 - Matt Grey: We always state the microwave should have adequate ventilation (20cm above, 10cm behind, 5cm each side).
The vent is on the side so this would be fine.

Having checked I can see there are no vents in the top of the microwave. You can place this under a cupboard but there must be 20cm clearance between the microwave and the bottom of the cupboard.

I bought the set kettle toaster and microwave match’s my kitchen and all great the kettle stays hot if you want it to the microwave is very easy to use very pleased with all sorry not sure about dimensions but I’m a very happy lady
Hahaha...gone down from 100m to 85m. Not bad. Might have to keep the kettle at the neighbours in the next block of flat. Will be perfect.
