These oak dining chairs have exceeded our expectations. They’re solid but not too heavy, in a classic design that we have been looking for for many years, they are also importantly very comfortable to sit on & put you at a much better sitting height for our dining table which they match perfectly. For the high quality the price is reasonable. The material used for the seat seems hard wearing (but may attract the claws of our cats!) & the light grey may get splashed but I hope they will wipe clean. These chairs have changed our home lives. We have started to use our dining room for breakfast lunch & dinner (& for doing homework in) and not just for special occasions. We have an extra room in our house! These chairs are as good as any we have seen in Oak Furniture Land. Buy them you won’t be disappointed & it’s an absolute bonus they come ready built. Thank you Argos! I can advise that the dining chair seat pad is wipe clean only. I would recommend warm soapy water and a soft sponge for any tougher stains.
