Well-priced piece of security kit for our needs
Really pleased we bought this product which is perfect for our requirements. We already had a motion-sensitive solar light for security purposes, but we wanted to add a camera facility, but all the CCTV options were quite expensive and too complicated for what we needed & a video doorbell wouldn't give us what we wanted either. This solar wall light cam is the perfect solution for us and we like that people just think it's a light - the camera is not obvious, unlike CCTV or video doorbells. The app is great, I keep finding more useful features in it! Considering buying a 2nd unit. It will be interesting to see how long the battery lasts over the winter as taking it down to recharge it will be a bit of a pain - we lost the tiny grub screw 3 times putting it up as it kept falling out (we didn't have a magnetic screwdriver) - loss of one star on the rating for that as it could be better designed in that respect.

Tiny screw
Great security coverage of our driveway, once it was up and formatted. However ......., the physical mounting was not 100% successful as the final and frankly minute screw proved to be too much. They are really tiny and black supposed to fit into black hole. We lost 3 of them in the flowerbed ! Also I needed ny son's IT prowess to confirgure the screen - blocking out neighbours' property etc .etc

Had to return . No good for close up view / recording. Tried mounting in different highest / places.coz camera fixed very limited . Nice clear Image tho .

I can confirm that the eufy S120 2K Solar Wall Light Outdoor Security Camera does not record 24/7 as the battery life would not last. There is a wired version which would allow 24/7 recording and this can be viewed in the app and wouldn't require removal of the Micro SD card.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the eufy S120 2K Solar Wall Light Outdoor Security Camera.
The light can be left on as long as needed however, note that the battery would drain quickly if this was done. It does have solar charging however, still this would drain faster than it charges from daylight.

The Eufy Solar Wall Light 2K CCTV Security Camera does have a built-in battery management system. This system includes a charge controller to prevent overcharging, ensuring the longevity and safety of the lithium-ion battery. However, the rechargeable battery is not replaceable.
