The design of this 2-channel DJ controller emulates a professional DJM-S mixer + PLX turntable setup, including specialized features for open-format and scratch DJs.
Bigger jog wheels - The bigger the jog wheels, the better for scratching. The jogs on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as the ones on the DDJ-SR2, a popular controller that's higher up in our range.
Lever FX – Dynamically add texture to the music with Level FX. Pull the levers down and hold them to apply effects from Serato DJ Lite in short bursts or push them up.
Mixed microphone Audio: Easily add your voice while you're streaming. For the first time in a Pioneer DJ controller at this level, the output of the master audio is mixed with the sound.

Great piece of equipment.
I bought this for my boyfriend for christmas as he has really gotten into making music. It is the perfect set of decks for a beginner that is also suitable for experienced people aswell. The quality is good and it feels very sturdy and well built. Overall, great product would highly recommend!!!

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 Controller.
The DDJ-REV1 works with either Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite software and not an app as such. Serato is not a software supported by us directly. But generally the methods for loading music into Serato DJ Pro are as followed:
Drag and Drop:
Click the FILES button in Serato DJ Pro to open the files panel.
Locate your music files or folders on your computer.
Drag the desired files or folders directly into the "All..." icon, located at the top left of the crates and playlist window in Serato DJ Pro. You can also drag them into a specific crate or onto the crate name.
To load music into Serato DJ Pro, you can drag and drop files or folders directly from your computer's file explorer (Windows Explorer or Finder) into the Serato DJ Pro library panel, or you can utilize the Auto Import folder feature for automatic library updates.

You would record in the program that you are controlling. Or set up an audio interface on the output of the program and use a separate program to record it.

You phone is where the music is being played, this is just compatible with certain apps that you can install, It's a controller only and not a playback device.

This is depending on the device you are taking the stereo out too. You have a L&R output but if sent to an amp with multiple outputs you are limited by the amp.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 Controller: ''As of the first of July 2020, Spotify confirmed it stopped supporting third-party DJing apps, so it won't be possible to use Spotify songs with rekordbox dj or any other DJ software/app because these are DRM Copyright protected.''
