About this product
The Vax SpotWash Home Duo is a compact spot cleaner designed to tackle everyday spills, stains and pet messes across carpets, upholstery, stairs and hard floors. It's got clean and dirty water tanks that give you enough capacity to deal with a few accidents before you need to refill or empty. It's light enough to carry around the house or out to the car, and the long power cord means you can reach most rooms without switching sockets.
You get a proper set of tools to cover different jobs - an Extra Wide 2-in-1 Wash Tool, a Messy Clean Up Tool, a Hard Floor Scrub Attachment, and a Multi Purpose Attachment, plus antibacterial spot cleaning solution to get you started. The adjustable floor head switches between surfaces, and the hose gives you reach for stairs and furniture. It sucks up spills and cleans right to the edges, so you're not left with damp patches or missed bits. The carry handle makes it simple to move between rooms or take it to the car.

Overall I’m quite impressed. My sofa cushions and stairs are much cleaner. It’s a good size to do my stairs twice. After cleaning it needs going several times over to suck up all the water but this is just mi it details.

I bought this a few weeks ago and used it on my sofa, it created loads more stains and has actually made the sofa look worse! I also used it on some pen stains my kids made and it never got the marks out. Don’t recommend and would actually like to return it!

Great for accidents
I bought this while my dog was ill and I had some accidents to clear up. Very easy to use. Light enough to carry and good suction left the carpets almost dry. The cleaning solution provided left a lovely smell. Would highly recommend

Brilliant piece of kit
I bought this recently mainly for my stairs carpet. Having the bigger cleaner I wanted something portable and light. I’ve cleaned my sofa, mattress and carpet and I’m very impressed by how well everything has come up. Definitely a good investment.

Nice little machine great for stairs an couch tanks are small you have to refill an empty after a few minutes. But overall it's ment to be for small clean ups. Very happy with it .

Defective in use
I have had this c.2years and have used it infrequently over this time. Used it today and noticed that the hose was split at the end where the attachments join. I realise why. Our friends at vax simply do not give us enough hose to wrap around the appliance without over stretching the hose. Great when it leaves the factory. I mean how much would it cost to have a little slack built in. Very dissatisfied.
