About this product
The Vax SpotWash Home Duo is a compact spot cleaner designed to tackle everyday spills, stains and pet messes across carpets, upholstery, stairs and hard floors. It's got clean and dirty water tanks that give you enough capacity to deal with a few accidents before you need to refill or empty. It's light enough to carry around the house or out to the car, and the long power cord means you can reach most rooms without switching sockets.
You get a proper set of tools to cover different jobs - an Extra Wide 2-in-1 Wash Tool, a Messy Clean Up Tool, a Hard Floor Scrub Attachment, and a Multi Purpose Attachment, plus antibacterial spot cleaning solution to get you started. The adjustable floor head switches between surfaces, and the hose gives you reach for stairs and furniture. It sucks up spills and cleans right to the edges, so you're not left with damp patches or missed bits. The carry handle makes it simple to move between rooms or take it to the car.

Defective in use
I have had this c.2years and have used it infrequently over this time. Used it today and noticed that the hose was split at the end where the attachments join. I realise why. Our friends at vax simply do not give us enough hose to wrap around the appliance without over stretching the hose. Great when it leaves the factory. I mean how much would it cost to have a little slack built in. Very dissatisfied.

Overall very happy with this product. The larger tool when has brush attached is quite difficult to push/pull on a deeper pile carpet but all other tools great. Works extremely well on upholstery. Took off old chocolate stains off settee and who knows what off a chair.

Hall stair carpet and Vax Spot cleaner
Just used for first time. Found the instructions clear and easy to fill and set up for use. I purchased to clean light colour stair carpet on which a professional clean did not last long. After use it looks bright again, but as you spray through one nozzle and remove through the front attachment, I think practise will show if I get this right as not much water removed when solution tank was empty, but carpet was touch dry. The machine is sturdily made and has a long lead. This version has multiple attachments. The hose material could be more flexible especially when working down from top of stairs. Cleaning spot wash was easy. Overall happy with purchase.
