Simple, classy Swedish designed clock
I love this modern cuckoo clock. It has an easy set up which needs to be carried out prior to the batteries being installed. This is due to a clever am/.pm function which allows the cuckoo to only tweets during daylight hours. There are clear instructions online if anyone gets stuck. Clear click face and wind. Even happier as I bought it with an Argos 20% discount. Great simple Swedish design.

It's a lovely quirky kitchen clock, looks nicer than my previous cuckoo clock, birdsong is pretty but the mechanism of the bird dipping forward is a bit noisy. I am pleased with it but I'm glad I didn't pay full price.

Love this clock but complicated to set the time
This clock makes me smile every time it cuckoos. Looks great in the kitchen. The volume can be turned down if too loud. Only downside is that it is quite complicated to set up the time - got there after many attempts - so not looking forward to summertime changes or the batteries running out!

"The cuckoo sounds on the hour. However, it will stop singing from 10 p.m. (22:00) to 5 a.m. (05:00). If you wished for the cuckoo not to sound any time, it can be silenced manually by putting the sound to the lowest setting. In this mode, the cuckoo comes out but does not sing."
