Looking for a contemporary 2-door wardrobe? Atlas is the answer. Smart in every way. Outside the warm oak shade looks a treat with the slim chrome bar handle. Inside there's an adjustable shelf and 2 adjustable hanging rails, so there's plenty of room to organise. Made in the UK.

Nice looking furniture
Nice looking furniture. The wardrobe is tall and takes the cloths hangers easily. It took a couple of hours to build, I unboxed it down stairs and carried it up stairs piece by piece.

This is the 2nd wardrobe bought as it is a nice feature in myself and daughters bedrooms fit nicely in the insets … easy enough to put together BUT instructions are a bit hard to follow … so took some time to erect … needed 3 of us to lift it to stand it up … but really nice ….

Really roomy wardrobes
Bought these wardrobes for my bedroom a few weeks ago. Had been looking for wardrobes that could be adjusted for my needs. I didn’t build these myself, paid to have them done as I wanted to make sure it was done properly. I have one with shelf on top and full hanging, the other shelf on top with double hanging. Really roomy can fit lots of clothes inside and boxes on shelves for extra storage.

I bought three of these as a refund to my daughter’s bedroom and planned the work around the delivery dates. Unfortunately a neighbour took delivery of them for me and the boxes were damaged. Once home I opened them only to find the actual pieces were damaged. I kept them and built them which was easy enough and the damages are superficial hence why I kept them. Just be aware of the box is damaged the contents might be too!!

Very poor quality
Wardrobe is very poor quality & a disappointing Habitat product! Flimsy materials, make the wardrobe unstable when gently opening the doors! Manufacturing/Construction issues; manufacturing holes drilled incorrectly, hence doors not aligned or flush to frame! QA of product poor, arrived with a 1”” chunk & scratched . Argos customer service helpful.

This unit is made from chipboard which has a lacquered decorative coloured surface applied to it.

Hello Sarah. I have taken a look at the building instructions for the Habitat Atlas 2 Door Tall Wardrobe. There is an option to place the shelf in the centre of the wardrobe rather than at the top, so it does look like there is a choice of where you place the shelf at the point of building. I hope this helps.
