Great for a small business
I bought 2 of these now for my small business, mainly for the A3 printing. They are really excellent and easy to use. The cartridges don't run out very quickly either. The only thing is that there's not a tray for A3 but you need to feed it one paper at a time for that. I think there's more expensive models that allow you to have a tray for A3.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this printer.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this printer. It prints quickly and the print quality is good, which is the main thing. Setup and connecting was a bit of a hassle, but to be fair that seems to be the case with most printers these days. It’s a little on the complicated side to use at first, and the ink doesn’t seem to last very long, which is a downside. I did have one unit fail within the first 4 weeks, but it was replaced free of charge without any issues. Since then, everything has been working fine. All in all, not perfect, but does the job well once you’re up and running.

Great machine for a small business or home office.
Great machine. This is the second Brother printer we have had. Our other lasted 9 years with daily use. We wanted something that could print A5 through to A3. This one was a little complicated to set up using WIFI as we wanted to be able to use it for printing from both our computers and phones. I believe (but not 100% sure) if we hardwired it using a cable instead of WiFi we wouldn’t be able to print from our phones. It’s pretty compact based on all its features. Had it about 6 months now and it’s been great. It can print on both sides of the paper. Prints up to A3 and it’s easy to change paper size. The printing speed is great which saves on paper. Big plus for us environment wise. The instructions come up on the touch button display to do this. We decided not to go for the Brother ink subscription as it seemed a bit complicated and the reviews were mixed for it but the ink is easy to purchase online. Quality seems good for what we need. Happy so far with it.

The manual feed slot supports A3 paper, but it can only hold 1 sheet at a time, so it will not take multiple A3 sheets ready to print.

This is A4 for scanning and copying. There isn't a printer that we stock that is able to scan/copy A3 sizes.
A3 scanners are a separate unit and won't be connected to a consumer printer. Business printers or larger format printers with scanning functions have them only.
