About this product
This Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox has a large area for lots of sand play with two seats moulded into the outside of the sandbox too, so children can sit on the edges and play. The bottom of the sandbox has moulded detail to encourage little ones to dig and when play is done, the lid - which is also the shell of the turtle - covers the sand until next time, protecting it from the elements.
Perfect for both inside and outside use as you can fill it with sand or play balls too. Please note sand and play balls are sold separately.

Great sandpit
The size is perfect for my 1 year old. There is also enough room that he could play in there with a similar aged friend. It isn't huge, but it meets his needs. The lid is very practical and it's easy to move around the garden.

Turtle sandbox for my grandson
I got this from Sainbury's in Westhoughton with two 15kg bags of sand. When grandson, who is two in October, first saw it he climbed all over it shouting 'turtle' and, as it was rather sunny, he had it as a paddling pool for over an hour till he got a bit cold. He's since had great fun with it as it's original sandbox purpose.

Good but not as sturdy as they used to be
My son loves his sand pit, the brand used to make sturdy products but the quality has slipped a bit. The lid is very soft and bendy but still does its job. Says around 3 bags of 15kg sand is used 4 bags if you want it fuller. My son is 7 coming up for 8 was for part of his sensory garden. It nice size for him he is a small 7 year old.

Bought this for my 3 year old grand daughter's birthday. Along with 2 bags of child's sandpit play sand. She absolutely adores it and has had hours of fun. I would highly recommend this turtle 🐢 sandpit who's shell is the lid to keep it clean and stop it becoming an extra large cat litter tray .

It lives up to what you would expect from little Tikes, colourful and durable. Not too big. Twins enjoy playing in the sand everyday, cover great to keep clean from visiting animals but does need something heavy on top to hold it down in the wind. Kids love sitting on the legs to put feet in the sand.
