The Tvilum Madrid 8 Drawer Chest gives you plenty of organised storage for clothes, bedding and everyday essentials without cramping your bedroom. There are eight generous drawers split into two rows, so you can separate smaller items like socks and accessories from bulkier pieces. Metal runners keep every drawer gliding smoothly, even when fully loaded. The clean white finish fits neatly into most bedroom styles. It's part of the Madrid collection, so it coordinates well with other pieces from the range.
The drawers are fitted with metal runners that handle daily use without sticking or sagging over time. You get a choice of brown leather or silver colour knob handles to match your preference. Wall fixings are included to secure the chest safely, as it stands over 60cm high and must be attached to prevent overturning. Assembly instructions are clear and straightforward, though two people are recommended to make it easier. Comes with a manufacturer's 1 year guarantee for reassurance.

Good value.
I ended up putting this together on my own and I did struggle a bit but it turned out good. It took me a full day to put it together. DIY isn’t my forte though and I’m sure it can be done quicker. It’s a nice finish and I think looks more expensive than it was. I’ve added an extra leg to the centre front to prevent bowing in the middle. It’s a nice piece of furniture for the money.

Frustrating to build
The Tvilum Madrid 8 Drawer Chest in Oak looks great, but be prepared for a difficult build. The instructions are quite confusing and not very helpful, so it takes time and patience to figure everything out. That said, once assembled, it’s a really nice piece of furniture. It’s slim yet offers plenty of storage with its eight drawers, and the oak finish gives it a modern, stylish look. Overall, frustrating to build, but worth it for the final result.

I bought this four months ago and I’m in love. Drawers are quite spacious, but don’t expect to store your full towel collection in one drawer. Not too complicated to build between 2 people. It took us 3 hours tops.

Beautiful piece
Be warned that the manual says it takes 4-6 hours to build and it actually took us that long. Also requires two people so it's definitely not something you can build on your own. But now that it's built, it's beautiful and functional. A very good size and holds a lot.
